First started with a phone call from the hiring manager. Each person gets a different hiring manager. Mine, Amie Yudice, was amazing! We had an amazing 15-20 minute conversation and I felt I was talking to an old friend. She agreed that I would be a great fit with the company and for a role in the finance department.
She then got me an interview with my manager. It was great getting to meet her and discuss my qualifications. Once that happened my manager went out of town for 3 weeks for a personal holiday. But that didn't stop the interview process. Amie coordinated the next 2 stages of the interview process where I got to interview with 2 other members of the finance team.
After my final interview it was only 2-3 business days before I learned that I received the job. Then it was Amie's job to review my salary requirement, compare them to the market for incoming employees both nationally and within the company, and she contacted me with the most fair and highest salary possible.
Once I signed the offer letter I slowly received communications from IT and others within the People team congratulating me on my new position and directions to get the onboarding process started. It was all very smooth and my first day was not a scramble to try and figure out what I was supposed to do.
