I had multiple interviews totaling over 7 hours in one week. I had to do a case study, which was about 4 hours of my free time. When I tried to connect with the original recruiter, I was shifted to another recruiter who said the team liked me, the feedback was “very positive” and that “we would love to consider you for any future opportunities”. I was told that they had internal candidates that they were considering 1st, which is why I wasn’t given an offer. So when another role came up I jumped at the chance and applied. Silence. I reached out to the 2nd recruiter who said she would contact the person handling the role, I was then ghosted. Apparently I was lied to, which leads me to believe this is not a great company or at least not well organized.

Initial screen call with recruiter to run through CV and role. Followed by a couple Zoom calls with the potential team and manager. Fairly casual process with a few competency and experience based questions.
