The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Turo (Phoenix, AZ) in Jun 2022
Interview
Started with a 30 min phone interview with recruiter was mostly just explaining the role, company benefits, pay and culture. Did ask a couple common behavioral questions (how do you handle conflict? Etc.) then moved on to a case study that was 2 questions regarding coverage. Did require research but nothing too difficult. Waited a few days for response as case study had to be reviewed by claims supervisors. After that moved on to two zoom interviews. 30 min with a supervisor and 30 min with a manager. Both were behavioral. One had many questions back to back. (Conflict resolution questions, how you deal with problems with managers and coworkers and how you handled them, a time when a customer disagreed with a decision, how do you manage your time, how do you feel about different management styles, and how you deal under pressure). Got the approval to move on same day which then required me to provide references (references were actually contacted btw!) and after that was done received offer on phone then via email. Then moved on to background check which was final step. The process was different than most I’ve dealt with but goes to show how the company cares about who they hire and quality of claim handling. Everyone was really nice and interviews did not really feel like a traditional interview. Overall process did take about 3 weeks.
Interview questions [5]
Question 1
How have you dealt with conflict in the work place and how did you resolve it?
Interview process was simple, began with a 15-minute phone interview, followed by an in-person interview with 3 supervisors/ team leads. I was provided with a case study & was asked to answer a few questions regarding that "claim" at the in-person interview.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Turo (Phoenix, AZ) in Jan 2023

The entire process, with my recruiter, was very positive. She maintained good communication and really took the time to understand my background and how it related to the role. She also took the time to educate me about Turo. Like their benefits, culture, and career pathing within the company.
