I passed the economics tutor quiz but fell slightly short of algebra. The competition among tutors on the site is really high and the compensation isn't good. They did me a favor by not hiring me but do yourself a favor and don't bother applying with these people. They think nothing of wasting hours of your time and then dumping you.

It was a mock session with a student. Seeing if you knew the basics of the topic plus the software used. Lasted about 45 minutes, and your job was to show them you could perform well with a student. Afterwards, I was told how I could improve and what I did well.
