I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Twitch (San Francisco, CA) in Apr 2016
Interview
I was contacted by an internal recruiter who set me up with a phone interview. After the phone interview I was invited to do an onsite in their office. I was given a tour off the office and then was interviewed by engineers, management, and people whom I may work with cross functionally. I was also given the chance to grab any drinks or snacks while interviewing. All the people at Twitch are very friendly and easy to talk to. They're really looking for someone who's not just smart, but also a good culture fit within the company. Also be prepared to talk about how you use Twitch and what you watch!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I was asked behavioral questions to deem cultural fit. Technical questions touched on syntax, peculiarities, and characteristics of your strongest language. Coding questions included algorithms and design related questions. Be prepared to write code that runs, and be able to iterate and improve your code.
I passed the Codesignal pre-screen and was invited to an intro call. The intro call included behavioral questions which I didn’t expect so I was not able to give good answers. The recruiter seemed cold and disengaged, he did not answer my email about interview process and did not turn on camera during the call, probably typical for big companies due to high volume of candidates.
At first I got the call from the recruiter for the screening process. Asked about the things on the resume work I did before. Then progressed to assesment round that consisted of OOPS coding question.

Question 1
one OOPS coding question was given in the OA 2 hrs max.
A recruiter reached out and described the role, sent out an online CodeSignal assessment. Afterwards waited a few days to receive invite to a 45-minute technical interview with the hiring manager.
