I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Twitch (San Francisco, CA) in Apr 2016
Interview
Recruiter reached out and had me set a time to speak briefly. Recruiter complete missed our scheduled time and followed up later to ask me to reschedule on his full calendar. It was annoying to have to work with him on finding an available time. I had the opportunity to speak with one backend developer over the phone. He ended up asking me all back end related questions for this front end position. When I asked questions related to the job , he couldn't articulate and had no knowledge of any front-end technologies that they use. (Why is this a thing??) He then made a comment that halted me in the process that made up my mind not to proceed further. The comment surrounded his surprise that "someone like me, with my background, was able to get a full-time web development job". (I went to a coding boot camp as compared to a traditional school/CS degree). It was rude and ignorant. It also told me much more about this company and the culture it creates.

Question 1
Explain to me TCP and how it's used in back end processes.
I applied on LinkedIn in December around when usually tech companies start recruiting. Received one of the three emails that correspond to the three Twitch Coding Challenges. I was only able to do the second challenge.

Question 1
The only challenge question I did essentially asked me to write out and implement my own linked list class. The question had typos though.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Twitch (Irvine, CA) in Dec 2018
Interview
The process was smooth and didn't take much time. Their recruiter contacted me and gave me an assignment to work on. After it they took me to their offices for an in person interview. Most of the time we were just talking and they asked a lot of behavioral questions. It went well, the team were nice to me. I thought i had done well but apparently not. I can't complain though. The whole experience was nice.
