Applied online, phone call scheduled ~ 4 weeks later. First half we talked about the current projects I work on. At the midway point the interviewer informed me their Data Science Manger position requires prior manager experience, which I had none and could have easily been looked for in my resume. The interviewer mentioned I would therefore be put on the entry level DS track. Last half of the interview went through very basic A/B test analysis. The interviewer seemed flustered when I asked about dealing with covariants in the experiment. I declined my interest. If interested in applying to this position, mention up front if you meet the qualifications before wasting an hour on the phone screen.
