The process couldn't have been more efficient and professional. Within days of submitting my application online I received an e-mail back from a recruiter. We spoke on the phone (30 minutes) and he arranged a longer call with the hiring manager. Due to some scheduling difficulties a second hour-long phone interview with the engineering peer of the role was arranged. Approximately three weeks after the initial phone screen an on-site was arranged. Ahead of the interview I spent 15 minutes on the phone with the recruiter where he explained who each of the interviewers were and what their areas of focus would be. I met with 6 people, 3 local and 3 remote via Google Hangout. All questions were very behaviorally focused. ("Tell me about a time when...") The following week I received a call from the recruiter informing me that I was not selected. He provided very little feedback as to my performance and focused instead on some disagreement on the team with respect to the balance of individual contributor ("writing stories") vs. leader and manager. In total the process took approximately one month.
