      Product Manager Interview

      Positive experience

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Twitch (San Francisco, CA) in May 2022

      Interview

Initial phone screen with recruiter, followed by a 50 minute phone call with the Hiring Manager. I was invited to the virtual on-site interview which consisted of 5 interviews in one day with a group of key team members. The discussion with the hiring manager was mainly around traditional PM knowledge - just showing your thought process of how you would take an idea from inception to production. The discussions during the on-site interviews were mainly behavioral, a lot of "describe a time when...". They are probing here to see how your experiences align with the company's core values. I had a very positive experience with everybody I spoke with. I hope to some day be a part of the Twitch team.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

What is your favorite product? How would you improve Twitch? After releasing feature X into production, how would you measure the success? Describe a time you assisted a colleague with your work. Describe a time you had a disagreement with a coworker. Describe a time you took a calculated risk in your job.
