I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Twitch (San Francisco, CA) in Nov 2018
Interview
Han an initial phone screen with the recruiter.Where he asked me questions regarding my background and past experience. Was scheduled for technical phone screen with hiring manager, which was rescheduled twice.During the phone interview the hiring manager went straight to coding without even introducing. Was aksed LC medium question for which I provided correct solution and the HM also agreed with my solution.
And the next day I receive a reject without providing any reason for it.
I passed the Codesignal pre-screen and was invited to an intro call. The intro call included behavioral questions which I didn’t expect so I was not able to give good answers. The recruiter seemed cold and disengaged, he did not answer my email about interview process and did not turn on camera during the call, probably typical for big companies due to high volume of candidates.
At first I got the call from the recruiter for the screening process. Asked about the things on the resume work I did before. Then progressed to assesment round that consisted of OOPS coding question.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
one OOPS coding question was given in the OA 2 hrs max.
A recruiter reached out and described the role, sent out an online CodeSignal assessment. Afterwards waited a few days to receive invite to a 45-minute technical interview with the hiring manager.
