Applied online, got an email from head of the department. Spoke on phone, lovely person. Received an email the next day from a recruiter asking for a quick screening chat. Was confused because it didn't mention the call I just had with the manager. Appparently it was a follow up call. Had the call with her, went well, then was given a heft assignment. Come up with pitch ideas for 3 different clients, 2 of which could very well be real clients. I was not compensated for this either. I spent all day and night working on the assignment that had a 48hr deadline. I sent it over, and received an email asking for availabilities for an all-day panel interview, the final process in the interview. I sent my availabilities and prepared my work calendar to take PTO for an interview. I did not receive a response until 2 weeks later, after I had followed up with just about every possible person. Their response- 'sorry, someone else was just further along in the process'. While working at Twitch seemed like my dream job, being treated like that- poor communication, lack of accountability, lack of respect for the time and effort i put into it- makes me content with the outcome.
