Interview
I applied for the HR summer intern (as a master's student) shortly after the application opened in early September 2024. I received the link to do the OA immediately and received the invite for the HireVue interview two days after I did the OA. At the end of HV, I was asked if I wanted to say anything to add to my application, and I just reiterated my passion for UBS and the role and thanked them for the opportunity to interview for the role. I got invited in early January and did the actual AC at the end of January. The AC consisted of 2x30 min interviews: one competency and one commercial interview. The interviewers were genuinely nice and wanted to learn more about me. I did think I flopped some questions in the 1st interview, but I got the offer call four business days after the AC.

Question 1
My first AC interview (the competency one) was all about UBS's nine principles, behaviours, and values. They asked me if there was a time I had to manage risk (which I think I flopped). The other questions were about each key. My commercial interview was one of the chillest I had ever done, and it was all about my understanding of HR. I got the basic walked me through your CV, tell me about yourself, why UBS, why HR, how does UBS differ from other banks, etc.
