      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at UC Santa Cruz (Santa Cruz, CA) in Dec 2012

      Interview

Three people were there to be interviewed, and three people were there to do the interviewing. They would alternate in asking us questions. We weren't told on the spot if we would be considered for the job but those of us that were received phone calls immediately after. Straightforward questions about past experience and plans for the future. Also about what we want to learn during our time working there. The three people there to interview us were the two main supervisors that we would interact with on a daily basis and the head supervisor. He was a very cool guy and I still keep in touch with whenever I have a question to ask. I had been referred to this job so they asked me how I knew this person.
