I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at UC Santa Cruz (Mountain View, CA) in May 2013

      Interview

Very brief phone screen, followed by all-day onsite. Interviews with multiple NASA and UCSC engineers, programmers, and scientists. White board coding problems in C and Java. White board problems in computational geometry and questions on system design. Security form (questions about recent jobs, places of residence, and contacts) that took a couple of weeks to evaluate. Follow-up with HR and 2 senior managers.
