HR called to schedule an interview which worked for my schedule. At 9:00am while sitting in the waiting area for my interview apparently HR called my cell phone to cancel the interview since the hiring manager was not going to be in the office that day. The VP of Operations was kind enough to take the interview. The interview went well and they said they would be in touch. I followed up the interview with a thank you email to the VP. The VP said he wanted me and they would call me soon. The next day HR called and said they wanted to make an offer for employment. The offer started at 60k a year. Then another member called and asked what I was quoted in which they said that was a mistake it pays 55K a year. Then when they found out that I was currently not working, the offer letter came in at 45K a year. A whopping 15K less than originally offered.
