I applied online and was contacted the next day. The National manager (former champ) only asked me how I was with Thai pads. The next day the GM emailed me and set up an in person interview. I met the assistant manager and the GM (both great guys) and we were on the same page. At the last minute a gentleman introduced to me as a part owner asked me if I had a MMA or boxing record. When I answered no (I am a martial arts instructor however) he informed me that due to franchise stipulations he could not hire me or he would be in violation of his franchise contract. I explained I wasn't there to teach MMA but to be a personal trainer (which is what they advertised they needed). It would have been helpful to have been asked this question in one of the few emails I received.
Yuh it was alright, theres 2 parts of the interview process one is question based and one is practical. Both weren't too hard, but there is set expectations immediately, which can definitely be daunting

Super nice and loved the energy. Pretty standard with questions about experience and scenarios. Went over the process as well as my fitness background. We had a good time and I am moving on to the practical interview.
