The negative GlassDoor reviews from employees confirm my experience in just an interview process. I often interview and have never seen a tone shift occur in real-time from their end. The first 20 minutes went very well, and I thought I would go to the next round of interviews. I asked two questions that revealed it all. One about work ethic/values and another about a feedback process. They “work hard, play hard,” and “our culture hasn’t changed since 1955.” They struggled to mention which values motivated them. The second question met a reactionary tone and was so accusatory that I was caught off guard by the unprofessional demeanor. During other questions, they latched onto small details of what I said and made little things into big deals and the primary response. I am currently unemployed, and this experience re-assessed my mindset not to take any job.
