I was already working as a float pool nurse on 11-7 shift and was looking to change my shift to days or evenings. I applied through the postings for several openings and received a call within a week after the posting was closed. The talent acquisition team called me and set up an interview with the unit manager. I met with unit manager at the hospital on the unit I was applying for a position on. I met a few of the staff members, had a chance to ask questions and was shown around the unit. The interview was very relaxed, but appropriate. Skills were on resume and a few situations were discussed that may arise on the unit.
