Personally, The application process was tedious I applied to several job requisitions which took me about two months before I even got my first call. I applied to both campuses in Worcester. After I finally got my call the interview process was fairly easy the interview questions were pretty much the "get to know you" type of questions. we talked a bit about my experience where I've worked and my availability, just regular interview questions nothing too hard. The interview was more of a conversation with the hiring manager. UMass is very picky on who they choose to hire especially if you're not a new grad. To be fairly honest it will take you a while before you get a call by just applying on Jobvite. I dint hear from the hiring manager for a week after the phone interview so i made a follow up call, this was critical, Your best bet is to be referred to a manager by a UMass employee. Your second-best chance is as a new grad. of course, this is solely applicable to new grads. The easiest way for a new grad nurse to get hired is to apply to the new grad program. The key is getting a call the interview process is fairly easy nothing too complicated unless you disagree on compensation and your work schedule. otherwise the "interview questions" are easy or rather a conversation.

interview process was easy and straightforward. Was offered a phone interview, then followed up with in person interview. After the in person interview I received a offer. This whole process was quick and effective.
