      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at UNC Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC)

      Interview

The interview was conducted virtually over Zoom, with two interviewers taking turns asking questions. It began with a simple “Tell me about yourself” prompt and gradually moved into more in-depth technical questions. The interview lasted just under an hour. Toward the end, it felt a bit rushed, as they seemed eager to move on to their next interview. When I asked questions, it came across as if they were brushing me off, likely due to time constraints.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Questions about networks. DHCP, Mac addresses, ipv4 vs ipv6, any monitoring tools? University setting so relates to network problems on campus. Only question I didn't expect was what I would do with a coworker not pulling their worth.
