Once the application was submitted, I was contacted to proceed with an interview and two assignments. The first assignment was to list 3 learning and development trends and why they're relevant for the UNDP's Learning and Development support, and the second was to prepare a 5-minute presentation that showcases my work samples. This all together took about 8-hours worth of research and work, none of it was used during the interview process which I felt was highly disrespectful. Communication was poor for interview scheduling, and no information was disclosed prior to the interview on what kind of questions would be asked, or who would be involved. It was a group interview panel with myself and 4 other individuals, all of whom took turns asking a wide variety of questions, both technical and personal.
