      Private Sector Engagement Interview

      Feb 15, 2022
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at UNICEF in Apr 2019

      Interview

There was a relatively easy written test (an assignment relevant to the role, to be completely remotely in 1 hour) followed by an interview. They were responsive and professional throughout the process, but I found the interview very difficult. They told me beforehand that the interview would be competency-based but after a few of those questions, the country representative asked me to explain specific technical terminology, and asked about what strategy I would take if given the position (which I had not prepared for).

      Interview questions [3]

      Question 1

Tell me about a time you had to resolve a conflict at work
      Answer question

      Question 2

Tell us about a big work-related challenge and how you addressed it
      Answer question

      Question 3

How do you think we should approach this task (the project this role was for) - basically what would you do if given the job?
