The interview process was very standard. An hour long interview with the recruiter and then an hour hiring manager interview. After the recruiter interview I was very excited to hear more about USACS, it seemed like they had a great culture and were passionate about the mission of bettering healthcare. Unfortunately my interview with the hiring manager changed that opinion. I had an hour long scheduled interview with the hiring manager and another FP&A manager, during which both seemed very disinterested in interviewing me. One manager left the call after 20 mins, and the other manager was visibly on his cellphone for most of the interview. When I asked the hiring manager why he chose USACS and why he stays, he responded the he fell into his current position after his wife got him a job there 8 years ago, and he stays because "the benefits are good". While I appreciated the candor, I was overall disappointed with this interview and the culture on this team. It felt like the interviewers were just trying to check a box in the process and weren't interested in seriously considering my candidacy for this role.
