      Specialist Interview

      Jul 27, 2013
      Anonymous employee
      Houston, TX
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at US Army (Houston, TX) in Sep 2009

      Interview

Find a good recruiter, study what you want before so you don't get swept into one idea or what just open. You're investing yourself into it for at least the next three years, so do what you will have a passion for. It will pull you through when you think can't. MEPS, inprocessing, health background . . . All worth it. Recruiter, ASVAB and physcial fitness is all checked out.

They just make sure you are qualified to join and that you don’t have any serious medical questions and that you don’t have any criminal charges that would have MEPS send you back. You can still get a waiver for a lot of things to still be able to get in.
