I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at US Army (Honolulu, HI) in Jan 2011
Interview
Nothing too special. It was more of a screening process. First you took their placement test to see what jobs you qualify for then speak to a recruiter to see if there is any availability. Once complete, you pretty much set a date to depart for basic training.
Not hard at all. The process of joining is fairly easy. Pass your advance or try to get a higher job and look for a job that is transferable to civilian workforce.
