I applied through college or university. I interviewed at US Census Bureau in Jan 2021
Interview
The interview process included two phone interviews. One gave a basic overview of the branch and the other asked questions about research experience and skills. Afterwards I was offered the position.
Not too bad the process was straight forward. The long background checks make it hard to give proper two weeks. Date slip alot
If u get calldd you...youre almost good to go.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at US Census Bureau (Suitland, MD) in Jun 2015
Interview
I interviewed in-person with three managers in my office of interest. They asked questions primarily about my relevant experience and we made friendly small talk. I knew one of the employees on their team and I got the job offer via email seven days after interviewing. Arrive at least 30 minutes early to get through parking and building security and find your interview location; the Suitland building is huge.
