I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at US Foods (Rosemont, IL) in Sep 2024
Interview
The initial interview process was super easy and more like a conversation. The issue is that I've interviewed for this company TWICE and both times, I had to reach out to them after WEEKS of not hearing anything back from the interviewer/recruiter and sending thank you letters to find out what the status was. The first time I interviewed, I spent a full hour interviewing just for the recruiter to tell me that they had hired someone internally for the position. I only learned this after not hearing from the interviewer for weeks and taking the initiative to reach out myself. Months later, I was job hunting and the position popped up again (either she lied about someone being hired from within or the role didn't work out with the person they hired from within.) No big deal. I applied again and was contacted for an interview. I sent a thank you letter a week after my interview, and it has been WEEKS since I've heard anything from the recruiter or received an update. I'm taking these things as red flags and will leave this company behind me. The 3-month turnover for the same position and the lack of communication has permanently turned me off from applying for any roles here. I'll pass. Applicants, beware.
