There is a Drug test, background check, health assessment and a IQ test which some will be done at the nearest meps. Its a very long process but that's how it is joining any military service.

Contact a recruiter - they have one in most cities across the US, go through the recruiter pre-screen questions, ASVAB, MEPS for your physical, 3 months bootcamp, 1 month of Combat Training, X number of months of job training (months depend on your job).

Mostly just things that would disqualify you, like if you have ADD or can't pass the ASVAB, or if you have scoliosis.
