I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at US Navy (Glen Burnie, MD) in May 2010

Interview

You have to meet with a recruiter first. They do a background check on you. There is a test you must take called the ASVAB to see what types of jobs you qualify for. Then you have to go to MEPS and have a physical. The Navy allows you to pick your job while you are committing to an enlistment.
