Applied for the position online on 7/31 and went to take Exam 473 on 8/1. I received a phone call a couple weeks afterwards and scheduled my interview for 8/16. The interview was with the postmaster and the supervisor at the location, and was fairly easy. They were very nice and made me feel comfortable. A few days later, I received an email to schedule my drug test and consent to my background screen, which I did both immediately. The days after my drug test, I received another email for a conditional offer for the position and accepted. I was then scheduled to report to the main district of the state I was hired with to have my fingerprints taken and was then given my official orientation date of 9/19!
