Interview
Applied online, then waited about 3-4 weeks to hear back from them. Upon confirmation of my eligibility, I was enrolled to take the first postal exam (off-site). You need to pass with an 80% threshold or better to qualify for the second round of exams, which are also off-site. I passed both sets of exams, and was sent an email about attending an orientation at the local branch office. The orientation lasted approximately 2 hours, which told the very real and demanding tasks of a postal worker. Upon ending the orientation, we were allowed one-on-one interviews with postal inspectors, managers, and union stewards. If all went well, you would be given a call within the next one to two weeks if they were interested in offering you a position.
