I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at US Postal Service (Sacramento, CA) in Nov 2016
Interview
You apply when they are hiring through Indeed.com, sign up to take their test(Consist of knowing the address by memory, can't use your phone and they make you empty out your pockets and them it into a locker. You get a piece of paper and a pencil), after you pass the test(I got 85%) you will get an email of where you can go to one of the post office and listen to a presentation(be there 20 min early if you want a seat) then after the presentation they will start asking you if you are commited to the shifts(even though its seasonal only that could turn to hire on) they will ask the following interview questions. If you are able to work anyday, time and work overtime. Your education doesn't matter. As long as you say yes to all or answer the question that they want to hear, you will get the job and start after 2 weeks(the sooner you reply to the emails and documentations submitted back to them the faster it will be for you to start working) Once again their process is seasonal then hire. You will be a seasonal, they will let you go and then they will call you by rank on the roster. When working at USPS as long as you work hard, don't listen to music with your earphones, don't be late for work and your breaks then you'll be ok.
