Interview
I had an initial screening call with an HR Representative. I found the representative to be surprisingly unprofessional.
She couldn't answer a single question that I had about the role, the actuarial department in general, or about the specific team I was interviewing to join.
She also didn't seem to be aware of what the CAS is or what ACAS/FCAS are, when I responded to her question about relevant credentials for the role.
When I told her I was looking for a new role to further my skillset and explore more of the actuarial profession, she recommended I look into contract work instead of the role I'd applied for.
I have rarely been so turned off by an interview. I would recommend actuaries look elsewhere for an employer that will respect you.
