I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at USAA (Tampa, FL) in Apr 2016
Interview
The interview was simple, though a little unnerving. First you will have a computer assessment. If you pass the assessment, you will be awarded a phone interview. If you pass the phone interview, you are scheduled for an in-person interview. The in-person interview can be uncomfortable because you are speaking with someone face to face and there is also someone on speakerphone who is typing/recording everything you say. Other than that, it was very relaxed and actually very simple. I felt very confident.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at USAA (Colorado Springs, CO) in Apr 2018
Interview
I applied and the next day received an online assessment. The next day I received an email to schedule a phone interview. The phone interview went well and at the end of the call they invited me to come in for an in-person interview the following week. The interview was with 2 people one typing and one asking the questions. They had me do a mock phone sale. They called me a few days later and offered me a different position as long as the background check clears. They sent me an email with concerns about my credit but I am not sure if they are going to revoke their offer
