I was contacted by an internal HR person getting basic information, noting my resume had been passed to her by an employee but she couldn't remember who or if that was why she was calling. I kindly noted it was from an Executive in the organization and I was happy to hear from her. She noted the process would be about 2 months and all decisions would be made by panel. Three weeks later I was contacted for an interview. I completed the interview and did well as even the interviewer was very open about my skills and the alignment. Radio silence for two weeks. I emailed the person who set up the interview. Radio silence. Four weeks after the interview, I get a generic we are moving in another direction. Shame on your UTSW - executives deserve better.
