I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Uber (San Francisco, CA) in Dec 2016
Interview
The interview consisted of 1 phone interview and an in person interview that lasted 4-5 hours. There was also a presentation I gave to a couple of interviewers. The interviewers made me think on my feet and gave me difficult scenarios to solve on the spot. Everyone was very friendly/pleasant and I felt an energy in the office. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to work there.

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Uber (Salt Lake City, UT) in Dec 2021
Interview
Not very friendly and confusing approach to some questions. They didn't really care if you were a good fit, unless you gave them specific answers in the interview. Overall it was not a good interview and they made me uncomfortable the whole time.

Question 1
What if all media didn't exist, how would you get candidates
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Uber (Bengaluru) in May 2017
Interview
A short Phone Screen for 10 minutes in that hardly anything was asked and an assignment was given to do. The assignment clearly says I can choose I like and I chose the 1st topic and submitted. Then I was asked to cover 2-3 more assignments and more time was allowed. I submitted within given time. When I informed about my submission of the assignment, I was told that my candidature was rejected as they found better candidates. They asked me to do assignment but did not check it. They asked me to work on additional exercise but it was not considered. Hence, a terrible candidate experience.

Question 1
No questions was asked to judge a recruiter's knowledge and experience on Technology understanding, Market data, Stakeholder Management or any achievements. A 10 minutes phone call it was and I was just asked to tell about my overall experience.
