I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Uber in Sep 2018
Interview
It was a long process. One first phone call, then the analytics test (it isn't hard, but you need to know the key metrics really well and also know how to use excel). After completing the analytics test if you aprove you have a video conference interview that lasted for an hour or so. Then the final step is to make a presentation based on three excersices related to the position you are applying to (use data to determine strategies). Lastly, there was a final interview with three people at uber (they evaluate different things, one of them evaluated to exersices and the overall presentation) that lasted for three hours.
