I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Uber (Sydney) in Oct 2022
Interview
Dreadful lack of communication, ghosted after two rounds despite completing and passing the psychometric tests which took 2 hours of my weekend. Only got a response from HR once a friend who referred me in escalated the issue internally. Waste of time.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Uber (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2026
Interview
There was around two weeks between every interview due to interviewer availability. It started with a phone screen, and then the hiring manager. After that, I was asked to complete a case study and present to a panel. I did not get an offer, but the experience overall was good.
First round was a hiring manager interview that was a mix of behaviourals and questions on how I would tackle certain problems
Second round was a series of 3 interviews with cross functional stakeholders each focusing on a topic (e.g. problem solving, stakeholder management/ collaboration)
Third round was a take home case study presented to the Head of Growth
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What are the key buckets in the delivery P&L?
Tell me about a time you had to influence your cross functional stakeholders to see things you way / adopt your proposal
The process was clear, and the recruiter was nice. Along the process, you will start seeing some senior, but very unengaging interviewers. They always seem to be obviously working on something else during the interview, and look for fixed answers even for open questions.
