I applied online. I interviewed at Uber (São Paulo, São Paulo)
Interview
I recently had an unfortunate experience interviewing with Uber that I feel compelled to share. My encounter was left much to be desired, to begin with, the recruiter was late for the interview. She jumped right into the question tell me about yourself. No ice-breaking, no overview of the company, no perspective on the job day to day. She literally did not introduce the company as usually done. She evidentially lacked preparation and knowledge about the position I was applying for, even mentioning she did not have details about the position. You are right, she did not know how to describe the day-to-day of the AE in the position. It became quite uncomfortable asking questions that the recruiter was unable to answer.
Reaching the end of the interview I thanked the recruiter for their time and declined to move forward.
If they are unprepared during your interview process, I cannot imagine bad poorly they manage the employee experience.
