Uber Product Marketing Manager interview questions

After a call with the hiring manager (he actually missed the first one and didn't even apologize), I was invited onsite to do a case study on a new Uber product idea. I mentioned safety and security as a possible concern for drivers when discussing the product. I mentioned that I saw an Uber driver get into an accident on my way into the interview. Without hesitation the hiring manager said "It was probably a Lyft driver" and he laughed along with the other two people in the interview. This really threw me off and I immediately knew this wasn't a company I could work for. It's now about 5 months later and I never heard any followup from the recruiter, even to say I didn't get the job. I didn't bother following up because of the reason mentioned above.

I applied through a referral and had an initial call with a recruiter. After this, I had a zoom video call for 30 mins with the hiring manager. Next, I was given the assignment that is mentioned here on glassdoor. I thought the assignment was fair and straightforward for the role. They also provided an example of what to do which made it clear what they expected. In the next round, you present your assignment to multiple people and they will ask you questions about your thought process. Next was on-site interviews with 6 people, plus 2 for an informal "coffee chat". This took a half day. After that, they moved to the offer. My experience was wonderful with the team and the recruiters. They made me feel valued and like they wanted me as much as I wanted them which led me to choose them over another large tech competitor. I disagree with previous comments that they want you to do the assignment so they can get ideas from you. They want to get an indication of how you work and the value you can bring to the team.
