      Production Assistant Interview

      May 23, 2023
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Los Angeles, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Ubisoft (Los Angeles, CA) in Aug 2021

      Interview

The interview process was quite casual and every interviewer was friendly so it was quite easy to interview however the whole interview process took at least 5 or 6 months and there was little to no communication. When I got a different job offer and checked in they had already given the job to someone else. They didn't have the curtesy to let me know it was no longer available even though I got to the final round of interviews. Very unprofessional.

After being welcomed in by HR and shown around the studio I sat down with two of the current Production team to have a chat about my application. They asked me about my current role, why I applied to their studio and quizzed me on how I would deal with certain situations in Production.

      Production Assistant Interview

      Oct 8, 2012
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      San Francisco, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Ubisoft (San Francisco, CA) in May 2010

      Interview

Applied online and received an email around three months later that they wanted to set up a phone interview. This was on a Friday morning. The interaction was fast and an interview was scheduled for the following Monday afternoon. I received another email about fifteen minutes before the scheduled interview time telling me that another member of the hiring team had put out an offer to someone else without consulting the rest of the team and it was accepted over the weekend, so my interview was cancelled. Incredibly unprofessional.
