I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ulta Beauty (Henderson, NV) in May 2016
Interview
I applied on April 24th, got called for a group interview about a week later, interviewed on May 5th and was told she would get back to us on Saturday the 7th. I let her know I had a couple more interviews lined up the next day but I wanted this job the most, she ended up hiring me right then instead of making me wait. I believe she did that because she was explaining how hard it is to find someone willing to do task because it is a 5 am shift, I figure she didn't want to lose people that were willing to work that shift. There were supposed to be 5 people at our group interview but only two of us showed up and we both got hired. The lady interviewing us was awesome, very friendly and down to earth! I go in on Saturday to fill out all the paperwork. Very pleasant interview experience, definitely one of the funnest interviews I've had. Just practice the interview questions because a lot of interview questions I saw on here were asked in my interview as well.
Easy and simple, asked a few questions. There wasn’t much to it, very ideal interview honestly. Quick and effective! I interviewed with the operations manager and she was very nice and definitely made my experience better
I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Ulta Beauty in Oct 2012
Interview
I had to go through 3 separate interviews, I met with the store manager, merchandising manager and finally operations. The whole process took about a month. The interview questions were pretty basic, like "why do you want to work for ulta?" "What kind of related experience do you have?" I was a little frustrated with how long I had to wait to hear anything, especially since the interviews were very short the longest being 15 mins.

Question 1
Since I was getting ready to take my test for my cosmetologist license, I was little take aback that they asked me several times if I will be leaving once I got my license. My original hopes and plan was to work within the salon in the store and that was relayed to all three managers.
