Ulta Beauty Task Associate interview questions

Process was very easy! Only asked me about my previous experience with customer service and then told me about the job responsibilities and what the role consists of. Also asked me questions like if I’m able to lift heavy boxes, etc.

Easy interview, everything was going great until they asked about my salary expectations. They said asking for $15 hourly was “far too high.” I didn’t realize anyone in retail was still paying so low, especially when they are looking for workers with years of experience and willingness to work at odd hours like early morning and late nights.
