I initially applied for Career Services Advisor and was not offered the position after sitting through a group interview. I was told that I needed to bring 5 resumes which I found odd because that was quite a bit for a first interview. I was unable to bring them all and asked the agent if he could print them for me before the interview process started and he told me to my face I could not interview in that time block and would have to come back. The way he came off was a bit aggressive when they were just printed for someone prior to my asking. After all they were printed and the process seemed very as if I was going for a retail job in high school. A lot of the persons were not professionally dressed and passing by the work area, a lot of the employees were not either. The interview process took 2 hours and it did not need to be that long. Most of the persons who were there, would not make it past the process once each person told the recruiter about themselves. After going around the room, the recruiters deliberated and thanked half of the room for coming without and initial response as to why. I made it through but to only be offered a position $3 lower (per hour) then what I initially applied for.
