Interview
A member of HR reached out via email to schedule an initial phone interview. The whole process from submission to interview took about two weeks. The HR representative was very friendly and the interview went well. She told me about the position and asked the standard interview questions. Once I had the interview she told me she would reach out to see if it was a good fit and then I would come in and speak with the team I would be working with. After two weeks, and following up twice, I heard back from the HR rep that said they liked me and I fit the requirements, but unfortunately, the position salary range was below my requirements. She thought I would be uncomfortable taking that much of a pay cut so she didn't want to offer me the job. However -- and I really like this part -- she told me that if a more senior role opened up that represented a higher compensation, she would definitely keep me resume on file and reach back out. Overall, I think it was an enjoyable process even though I did not get offered the job.
