Interview
The interview process lasted about 4 weeks. First, you submitted a online application with various questions. Second, did a phone interview with a recruiter from the network. Third, if advance you will be ask to do a sample demo lesson at one of their network of schools , depending on your preference. The sample demo lesson was predetermined and you have to teach what they want you to do. I was told I was given 20-30 minutes to complete the lesson and was only given no more than 10 mins the most. They gave the instructions for the lesson day before the assigned interview day, so there was not enough time to really get the lesson perfected. I barely got a debrief on my lesson, I had to really try to get the school leader to give me some feedback and that was very brief and quick like she had something to do and did mot want to be bother. Overall, I had a feeling I was not going to get it based on my experience at the in person/sample lesson interview.They are looking for specific type of person, it is either you get their way of teaching method internalized or you do not.

The interview was via Zoom. I had to prepare a five minute lesson with information provided in preparation for interview. I was given feedback on my lesson to understand the style of the school's teaching.

During the interview process I delivered part of a lesson from one of their common lesson plans. Throughout the delivery, one principal actively coaches you throughout the process, meaning they will pause in the middle and correct a behavior or adjust wording etc. Primarily looking for ability to accept adjustments and feedback and incorporate them into your teaching.

Interview
The interview process was fairly easy and fun. I interviewed with a cohort of about 9 other people. They gave us breakfast and an overview of their teaching philosophy before showing us the school's morning procedures. We then taught our sample lessons in front of the principals present and they gave really good real-time feedback (which was not intimidating at all -- very helpful!). We then had one-on-one interviews with principals from the school and left for the day.
