I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Under Armour (Washington, PA) in Oct 2013
Interview
Asked me how I would sell him a cardboard box that was lying around. It was overall a good experience and didn't deter me from wanting to work there. Everyone I met was extremely friendly. Overall a very quality experience, talked with multiple people.
The interview process was professional, welcoming, and well organised. It usually began with an initial phone screening to discuss my availability, previous retail experience, and interest in the role. This was followed by an in-person interview with the Store Manager, where we spoke about customer service, teamwork, sales targets, and handling different retail situations.
The interview focused on communication skills, problem solving, and providing excellent customer experiences. I was also asked behavioural questions about working in a fast-paced environment and achieving sales goals. Overall, the process was friendly, straightforward, and gave me a clear understanding of the company culture and expectations of the role.
