I applied online. I interviewed at Uniphore Software Systems (Palo Alto, CA) in Mar 2025
Interview
This interview review is very much consistent and strikingly similar with many of the reviews posted here on Glassdoor over the past few years.
After applying for this role through Uniphore's career site, I got an e-mail from the recruiter requesting to schedule a screening call using MS-Teams.
Our conservation went well and the recruiter said that I would be moved to next steps which would include speaking to several executives, I was asked to provide my availability which I did quite promptly. After over a month, nothing had transpired. I was ghosted with no courtesy response or any feedback whatsoever.
As many other Glassdoor reviewers have already stated, the unprofessional behavior reflects poorly on the company, especially given that this entity is still in startup phase, Furthermore, today's candidates are tomorrow's leaders; hence, ghosting candidates can have an adverse impact for a company, its employees, its customers, its investors, its partners, etc.
If this is how they treat candidates on the outside, one can only imagine and surmise how they would treat their own employees.
Finally, interestingly enough, now I am a Corporate Strategy lead a large multi-billion dollar big tech with a focus on Enterprise software. During due diligence, this company came up as a potential M&A target. Given my unpleasant experiences, I had declined to pursue any acquisition prospects with this organization.
I hope this review is helpful to other candidates. Good luck!
