I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Uniqlo (London, England) in Mar 2025
Interview
The overall experience has been very positive — the people I interacted with were exceptionally nice, approachable, and supportive throughout the entire process. The HR team did an excellent job by providing a substantial amount of helpful information and clear guidance well in advance of the interview, which made it easy to prepare and feel confident. Additionally, the hiring process itself is impressively efficient and moves along quite quickly, reflecting a well-organised and professional approach to recruitment.

- One time that you provided excellent customer service?
After the initial application, there was one telephone interview followed by one in-person interview.
The telephone interview tested my motivation for joining the company and what I love about the brand. The final interview focussed more on experience and what skills would make me suitable for the role.
Some stores have an assessment centre as part of the application process but I have not sat one.
Group interview where they go through a bunch of scenarios and some of them you have to get up and present in front of everyone, its maybe like 30-50 people in each group.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Uniqlo (Stockholm, Stockholm) in Feb 2026
Interview
The interview process consisted of a group interview with four candidates present. There were two staff members conducting the session, including a manager.
The session began with a short introduction round where each candidate presented themselves. We were then given group tasks and situational exercises. These involved discussing different scenarios and explaining how we would handle them in a retail environment. The focus seemed to be on teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
Overall, the interview was interactive and centered around collaboration and how candidates approach customer service situations.

Question 1
Q: How would you handle a situation where a customer needs assistance, but you are in the middle of closing tasks?
We were also given a practical group task where we had to collaboratively fold T-shirts and organise them efficiently. This exercise seemed to assess teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.
