I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Uniqlo in Mar 2012
Interview
There is three rounds for management trainee recruitment for uniqlo singapore.
Basically, they do not look at your grads, work experience etc. We just leave our names and contact details during their University recruitment talk and wait to be called.
They took about a month to contact me after I signed up for the first interview.
So during the first round there is a total of 300+ interviewees and the interviews are conducted in groups of 6. The interviewer asked a total of 3 questions and all of us were given a chance to answer.
After the questions were answered, it was a short Q&A session and the interview ended.
I was contacted by Uniqlo on the day with the results of the interview. And I got through to the second round, which is an internship at Uniqlo for a day.
The internship was basically an orientation to prep you for the working experience in Uniqlo, as well as showing us the unglamorous side of working in retail. Basically showing us the reality of the working environment in Uniqlo. It was a non-eliminating round. The internship lasted for a day. There is about an average of 10 candidates per internship day. A total of 60 candidates made it through to the 2nd round.
After the internship, it is the final interview. I have yet to receive a call from them to confirm the dates for the final interview, thus unable to comment much about the process.
It was really challenging. There were a lot of process that goes into it. Interviews, exams, situational questions and of course personal experiences that will help them define who you are.
several rounds of interviews. The entire process can take anywhere from 4 to 12 weeks from application to offer.Online Application,Automated Video Interview,The Phone/Video Screening Interview (With HR), The Panel Interview or Series of One-on-Ones, etc.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why our company? Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Got so many levels to pass and even the first one is hard. Time consuming because so many levels and most of the interviews are physical interviews. If you already had a job it is hard to ask for leave for so many times.
